This was such a lovely hostel in Ashland OR. I will definitely come back to stay next time I am passing through! Very clean, affordable, comfortable, friendly folks, and I felt safe here. Less than a mile walk to the downtown area.

This was my first hostel experience! It was with some people that I already slightly knew, but the space really made it great. It's pretty cozy and has a nice view. It is located about a 15-20 minute walk to the theaters, which was nice. Overall I really liked it and would stay again!

Great place to stay if you're in Ashland for UBI, which is next door, or anything else. Under new management since May of 26 and they are on site and responsive. Walking distance to everything including the food coop where you can get food to go or bring back to cook in the kitchen. Suites are clean, there is laundry and each room has bunk beds, so good for group travel. Everyone gets towels and linens. Good parking either in the lot or out on the street. It can get crowded and it's a hostel so don't expect a lot of privacy but I was there a week and enjoyed meeting new people so that can be a plus.

I had a perfect 0 day here (PCT hiker) and this place and the staff deserves fair reviews : they were SO friendly, helpfull and welcoming! I felt as a hero coming from the trail and Traci who began to work here recently is a TRUE Trail Angel ! The beds are EXTREMLY confortable, showers and restrooms perfectly clean and hot, very cosy common areas, the laundry is available aswell. Very affordable prices. Just THANK YOU THOUSAND TIMES ASHLAND COMMONS ❤️

VIBES: The vibes at Ashland Commons are absolutely amazing! There's such a warm, welcoming community atmosphere here. The common room is the perfect spot to meet fellow travelers from all over the world - I made lifelong friends during my stay. Everyone is friendly and respectful, and there's a great balance between social energy and quiet relaxation. The hostel attracts awesome people - outdoor enthusiasts, festival-goers, backpackers, and adventurers. It feels like a home away from home. If you're looking for that authentic hostel experience with genuine community spirit, this is the place! Just phenomenal service.

I had a great experience. Facility is everything you need it to be: great kitchen and common space, plenty of parking, comfy beds. Everything clean and orderly. Super-welcoming and accessible host. What a pleasant and affordable way to visit Ashland!

This is a fantastic spot with outstanding customer service! I’m a very happy customer and extremely grateful to Tim for his generosity in moving my reservation twice with no extra charge. When my car unexpectedly broke down and got stranded in Sutherland, Tim went above and beyond to accommodate the situation while it took two days to source the part and complete the repair. His flexibility and helpful attitude made all the difference during a stressful time. Thank you, Tim - I truly appreciate it! I will definitely be booking again in the future.

This is a great spot in a convenient location, all at the best price for a quick trip to Ashland! Tim was very welcoming, and the other guests were kind and respectful. The rooms and shared spaces were clean and comfortable, too. Next time I'm in Ashland, I'm sure this will be my spot to stay again!

Ashland Commons is a wonderful place to stay, close to town, near enough to everything that we just parked our rig and biked in and out of town. We stayed a couple nights and took advantage of everything Ashland, has to offer. Really worth it. Coming home to the Asland Commons each night on its quiet side street made our trip 100% doable and fun. The owner, Tim is really nice and super accommodating. It seems that it wasn’t too long ago that he was hiking the PCT trail and knows what unassuming generosity does for the world. We made an inquiry from the road, even though it seemed that the place was full and he responded within an hour or so and was easy to communicate with to make our stay possible. We will be back!
